Media coverage

Robin appeared on the NBC (55+ million viewers) during a story on the Persuasive Mirror as well as on major French televisions stations (TF1, M6) and newspapers (Nice Matin). The Activity Monitoring appeared on the BBC.

Visual Shelf Monitoring on Chicago Tonight (link), March 4, 2009.
The Visual Shelf Monitoring prototype got presented right after Obama! What an introduction!

Volkskrant (link), one of the top Dutch newspapers, March 18, 2008.
An article is written about Robin Groenevelt’s work at Accenture in France.

University programs

Visual Shelf Monitoring: A full-sized demo of our camera-based shelf monitoring solution got installed at the Fontys University in the Netherlands. The demo has become part of their showcase technologies to attract students from all over the world and is also part of the training curriculum.

Phd Thesis

Stochastic Models for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (pdf). This PhD thesis was granted by INRIA and the Université de Nice, France. The thesis solves a number of telecommunication network and queueing theory problems through the derivation of mathematical formulas. Warning: it contains a lot of formulas.
